Our group at University of Sao Paulo (USP) is mostly interested in studying:

• Classical machine learning techniques to create predictors, which are being applied in genomics and metagenomics;
• Deep Learning techniques applied to broader problems, as for instance prediction of complex biological attributes in viruses and bacteria.
